OKAY, SO. New little things in place, go look around for the little icons strewn about below. I'm going to try breathing life into the RP soon, and ... at least three fourths of the RP have been sent an inactivity warning. I'm being nice now, you have two weeks to get on before you're booted for inactivity. A few accounts have already befallen such a fate, now, let's not let that happen to the roleplay. c: And forgive this dumb admin for any rapid journal updates.

Just WHAT is this?

_{This is hopefully the beginning of a Roleplay Group. The idea for this was discovered on mangabullet. And Gadget14, adored the idea from first discovery, and decided to set out to make their own "Adopt-a-colour" club/RP right here on DeviantArt. After a little chat with friend Bakanda-red, The Colouration Nation was born!}




Rules~!

You NEED to:

~ Make sure you are on DA regularly, we don't want people who fall off the face of the internet for 5 months at a time.

~ Be sure that you have at least one drawing in your gallery.

~ Have a small amount of experience RPing. If you have never RPed before, go and RP a little on some site THEN join. You don't have to be a master at it.

~ Be able to read and write English quite well.

~ Type using full sentences and correct spelling. We aren't too fussy. Just no text speak please.

~ PLEAAASE use some sort of ooc. Thank youuu!




How to join~!

~ Firstly, pick a colour. It can be any colour. Just make sure it hasn't been taken first (check the member list, of course) and doesn't look too similar to an existing colour character.(Example: Alpine green) Remember, it's first come first serve!


~ [If you wish to adopt a colour, send a note entitled "Adopt: (colour name)" with which colour you wish to adopt and maybe a small example of a character bio you would do to portray the colour.]


~ Upon picking your colour, Send a note to the club (this account) stating which colour you would like to be. If we accept your colour, you can then create an account for it. (Example: The colour Alpine green would be ~Alpine-Green) DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT UNTIL WE HAVE ACCEPTED YOU PLEASE!


~ Once you have been accepted and have created your account you have 1 week to write up a character bio. If you will, please put the character bio in the ID section as well as write up an intro journal. It makes the account look nicer!


_{Note: Please avoid making your character like a mary sue/gary stu, we want you to make this character believable, no half vampire, mermaid, space alien things with extra hair growing out of it's arse. PLEASE AND THANK YOU!}

If you have reserved a character, you have two weeks to send in your application before your colour is free for anyone to take. It's unfair to have a colour on reserve for a year while others line up to adopt it while you take your sweet time. This being said, all colours previously on reserve are now free. Apologies for any inconveniences, if you'd like to reserve the colour again, send in a note or comment to this account. Thank you!

Also, you have two weeks to make your account upon being accepted. Failure to make the account within that time period will result in your colour being up for grabs once again.

Any colour not listed took too long to make their accounts upon being accepted. If you'd still like the colour, please send in something stating you're alive and will make the account. If any mistakes were made, feel free to punch this stupid admin in the face.</sub>


We WILL check your account for the bio, so PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be sure to make on! It lets us know more about your character~!


Failure to write up a bio within a week will result in a warning. After two weeks you will have the account taken off you and your colour will be put up for adoption.

Since your bio should be now written in the ID section, just to straight ahead with using journals to act as the character.

~ You must draw and submit your Character within 4 weeks of being accepted. Your character must mainly consist of your chosen colour. Little things such as eyes and nails can be in a different colour is you wish. But say your character is "alpine green" being green, he can't have pink clothes or hair. Mainly the colour "alpine green" should be used, along with others shades.

~ Failure to draw your character within 4 weeks will result in a warning. If it is still not done after 5 weeks you will have your account taken off you and your colour put up for adoption.

Be Active!

~ Make sure you log onto your account at least once a week. If you are going away on holiday, or you are going to lose your internet connection for a while. Put up a journal stating this and how long you think you will be away for.

~ Failure to be active for more than 2 weeks will result in a warning, after 6 weeks your account will be taken and your colour will be put up for adoption.




Family

Your family will be in your own character's color. "The Originals" (example: ~Original-Green)are the head of your family. Your Family is important. You can create relationships within your colour family (e.g. Siblings, husbands, girlfriends, parents). You can do this with other colour family too, to a certain extent.


Example: A colour from the blue family, could be married to a colour from the yellow family. Together they have a child, who would be from the green family.

~ However, blue and yellow cannot be siblings. Think about how colours work and what relationships would make sense.

~ Also, do not just assume your character is related to someone elses. Always ask the person first, preferably in a note on how you wish your characters to be related. The same goes if you wish to draw characters together, always ask first!




Can I have more than one Character?

The answer is yes. But you are only allowed two characters maximum per person. Any more and it could become a very big mess.
